Osama among bin Ladens that were allowed to flee US after 9/11

We all remember that George Bush allowed members of the bin Laden family to call in their own charter jets to escape the country after 9/11. The theory was: if we don't allow that, they may be lynched and we have no evidence that they are connected to the attacks in any way. But what if, as Judicial Watch contends, Osama was among those allowed to leave? Was the most wanted man in history watching TV, in Florida, along with the rest of us?

Excellent observations by Mike Boyd

Me thinks thou doest protest too much. (It's only when the airlines get a bill for incompetent performance that they start complaining, otherwise, its all good, as Boyd points out in his aviation hot flash column. If you can't get to the column via the direct link I've provided here, simply go to:

http://www.aviationplanning.com

and link to the HOT FLASH column from the front page after entering the site.

Its very convenient that a bill for $40 million was ommitted from one airline's blance sheet prior to dispersing the profit sharing checks, wasn't it?

Establishing Jurisdiction for denied boarding

CIVIL PROCEDURE – When Gupta attempted to board a Bangkok plane bound for Los Angeles, Thai Airways employees refused to allow Gupta to board because they determined his U.S. visa was invalid. The 9th Circuit found that Gupta had a full and fair opportunity to establish the jurisdiction of United States courts over Thai Airways. Judge Bea wrote, “He failed to do so. He does not now get a do-over.” SEE Gupta v. Thai Airways International via Courthousenews.com.
