The folks with girls are taking them out of danger, and the ones with boys are taking them to a more target rich environment. Its all demographics. (Malthus) And the market. (Smith) Which comes first? Some would argue demographics since there have to have been choosers before there can be markets, but if the sex of the choosers is predetermined by other market factors,(and assuming different sexes prioritize differently) then its the demographics, isn't it?
