Imitation is the highest form of flattery

Doing Security the way Israel does it would work if it weren't for the fact that when we do it, we interview wanna be hijackers like the Shoe Bomber for 12 hours and then let him board an airplane anyway, wearing the very shoes that he plans to use to execute his plan, sitting right there in front of us all along. Not encouraging. Nope. Not encouraging at all. Perhaps all this security questioning is just another way of destroying Southwest's business model, because as this article points out, at some point, folks will just drive.
